Lunch Party

Today we had a shared lunch and to jazz the room up we decorated it with the bunting we made.Looks pretty cool I think !!

In the computer

I had a fun time on the computer doing activities and watching a cool movie about toys that come to life. 

Pottery

Here I am doing an important job,cleaning up the pots ready for their trip in the boxes to the kiln at Bethlehem.Its mucky work but I quite like it !

Funky Fashions

I have been enjoying giving second hand clothing a new life in up-cycled clothing. I helped to sew red pearls onto this blue top to make it funky!! We have also been making some really cool facinators out of little hats. 

Lemonade

My friends were making fresh lemonade,it was cool to join in and sort the lemons for squeezing !

Xmas decorations

I have been helping Nicky to make decorations and this is the reindeer that I helped decorate 🎄🎆💊

Measuring up !

In upcycle clothing we measured my most important part ,my head !!! I need to choose some decorations to put on my latest wooly hat......I have a grey scarf too and am learning blanket stitch to go on this.

Tauranga SPCA

This morning I went to the Tauranga SPCA I visited the cats Marvin the black cat was my faviourt he loved to be patted.

This afternoon I sorted the pots with Nicky...it was like Christmas unpacking them all.

Snitzel von Crumb

Today was very exciting,I walked two dachsund dogs around our building with their owner Chrissie. Their names were Doug and Jess and they like to eat carrots and grass cuttings !!!

Pottery

I have made a set of plates in pottery.Here I am decorating them in my very special way,drawing onto the clay with the  wooden tool.I drew happy faces and a vase of flowers.

Sensory jacket

I finished by sensory jacket that I have made in up cycled clothing ,I worked really hard hand cutting out all the strips of fabric and hand sewing little details on it. It looks so cool, I modelled it in class. 

Karaoke

Had lots of fun doing karaoke in music, I got to sing all mY favourite songs.

Shopping

This morning I went for a walk in the sun shine to the Red Coss Op Shop In Greerton. I chose to buy. Blue coat that I could up cycle in up cycling clothes.

Model time

Here I am modelling my latest outfit !! These are some clothes that we are going to upcycle into something fancy....I like them as they are !!

Up-cycle clothing

Here I am sewing buttons on a fluffy scarf to jazz it up !! I chose all the buttons and we used the needle and thread to sew them on .

Art

Here is my latest creation,a beautiful canvas filled with glow in the dark happy chappie faces..I'm very pleased with my artwork .

Here I am decorating some of my latest pottery,it's great to get the clay out and put some colour on !

Friendship

Nicky came in for a visit and I was so happy to see her

Cleaning

Yesterday afternoon I was very helpful I moped the floor and even helped stick on the washing before I went home.

Making pipe cleaner toys

I had a fun time making some pipe cleaner, Pom Pom amd polystyrene figures in my tactile activity session. I made a funny clown man with a crazy haircut. 

Glow disco

On Friday we had a shared Lunch of pumpkin soup and then enjoyed a boggie down at the glow disco in the sensory room.

I have got my EYES on you

"Hi,". I made these cool glasses with Donna.  The world looks beautiful and just makes me want to smile.

Fun with silly putty

This morning Julie had lots of fun playing with playdough, cutters and silly putty. It made really silly noises and felt so squishy in my fingers. I loved putting beads into it as well and seeing how the texture changed.

Sewing

Here I am doing my " needling".....or to those that don't know it's my sewing !!!! I am working on my technicolor dreamcoat,a vest covered with sensory fabrics......I can't wait to wear it :) 

Cherry Pot

Today I helped to add the cherries to our little clay box.I scratched the clay with a sharp tool and then painted it with slip,a type of pottery glue !! Awesome 😊

Girls group

Yesterday in girls group I had my makeup done I looked very pretty! I even painted Nicole's nails.

Today my pots came back from Bethlehem.I had glazed them pretty colours and I love the shiny smooth feel of them .I am feeling very pleased with myself 😍

Making a card for Kay

I have been busy in card making cutting out pictures of exotic animals and shapes I have drawn to glue  onto a card for my mum. It turned out really cool!!

Cutting in the art room

I have been very busy getting ready for a big collageé art piece I am working on so went into he art room and cut out cool pictures with a really cool squiggly pair of scissors. It was cool

Bowling

I had fun in Tactile activities this morning, I was bowling, I knocked all but one pin down. I was very pleased with myself.
